About Us
AATL is an Industry-focused research center for bridging engineering gaps, advanced learning and training, having specialized Labs to support research, development & commercialization of broad technology segments such as Mechanical Joining, Adhesive Bonding, and Welding / Fusion combined with Design Engineering and Process Engineering capabilities. The emphasis is to move away from isolated pockets of expertise within various organizations to a community-focused enabling structure with a clear mandate and visibility. The objective is to Synergize Industry & Academia to develop a collaborative approach to problem-solving, create a repository of information that will aid in the easy adoption of advanced joining technologies, quickly troubleshoot joining-related issues, validate new technologies, certify new processes and tools, and equipment for fitness for use.

Arvind Krishnaswamy
Visiting Consultant
Arvind Krishnaswamy is a serial-founder who works at the intersection of strategy and deep-tech commercialization. He began his career researching Carbon nanomaterials — Carbon nanotubes and graphene — at the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (Bangalore, India) and at the University of Cincinnati (Ohio, USA). He co-founded and scaled three ventures — HopOn (shared-mobility SaaS backed by Times Ventures, scaled to 1,000+ locations), AppSteer AI (no-code and Gen-AI enterprise applications) and TellMore AI (enterprise AI middleware). He then moved into Enterprise product and Global GTM leadership at Fosfor (LTIMindtree) and now, at Loop AI. Based in Bengaluru, he is driven by blending the frontiers of Science and AI into Products that solve real-world problems.
Hassan R Narasimhan
Visiting Consultant
Hassan Narasimhan is a results-driven aerospace manufacturing executive with 25 years of US market leadership spanning the most critical aerospace manufacturing corridors in the country – Los Angeles, Oregon, Seattle, and Salt Lake City. His career is defined by deep technical mastery in machining high-temperature alloys and advanced composite materials — widely regarded as the most demanding and highest-value discipline in aerospace component manufacturing, where tolerances are unforgiving, and failure is not an option.
Hassan’s entire body of expertise was built over a distinguished career at ISCAR USA, a global leader in precision metal cutting tools, where he developed and refined his specialization in high-temperature and composite material machining while serving the most demanding aerospace manufacturers in the country. He was the National Product Manager for Milling operations, led national strategy and technical direction for milling solutions engineered specifically to solve the toughest cutting challenges in nickel-based superalloys, titanium, and composite structures used throughout the aerospace industry. He brings deep expertise in the areas of High-Temperature Alloy Machining: Advanced cutting strategies for Inconel, Waspaloy, titanium, and other superalloys used in jet engines and critical flight structures; Advanced Composite Machining: Specialized tooling and process strategies for composite airframe and structural components; Product Strategy: Milling technology direction, product launches, and market positioning at a national level; Aerospace Business Development: Sustained relationships and growth for aerospace manufacturing.
